There once was a darling little girl. Because she was cute and sociable with other people, she was the center of attention and adored by her family and their friends.

Birth control pills deplete levels of certain B vitamins, especially folate, which contributes to depression AND anxiety. Birth control pills aren't the only culprits.  Hormone Replacement Therapy and peri-menopause can both deplete these crucial B vitamins.

I have been wanting to write this blog for a long time. This isn't some doctrinal essay, it is Amy's interpretation (with backup from modern prophets and apostles) of an often ignored part of the Word of Wisdom (Doctrine and Covenants Section 89).
