Who doesn't love Chocolate?

Dark chocolate is rich in anti-oxidants (It protects your cells from the damage of everyday life).  It has shown beneficial effects on cardiovascular health and post-exercise markers.  Now researchers have found that it can also improve exercise performance.

40 grams (about 1/3 cup) of Dark Chocolate or white chocolate was consumed daily by cyclists.  Cyclists who used dark chocolate used less oxygen and cycled further in a timed ride.   They could exercise longer after consuming dark chocolate.  Dark chocolate increases nitric oxide levels.  Now...if we could figure out how to get the chocolate without all the sugar.  :)
