Eating Healthy-Are you succeeding?

Think you eat pretty healthy?  You may still not be getting the nutrients your need.  One study looked at a wide variety of people, from elite athletes, to couch potatoes. Not one diet had even the 100% RDA (recommended daily allowance) micronutrient levels.  Micronutrients are small nutrients like copper, selenium, zinc, B vitamins, etc.

Is this important?  A study in Australia compared a multivitamin to placebo. The multivitamin:

  • Improved Mood
  • Reduced the feeling of stress
  • Increased wakefulness during the day
  • Improved function during the day.

This multivitamin had high levels of the B vitamins. Want to feel better and really get the micronutrients your body needs?  Use a good quality multivitamin.  Avoid vitamins and supplements containing synthetic folic acid.  Contact me, or call the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Rexburg (208-356-4481) to find out about ActivNutrients multivitamin.
